Following National Offer Day on 16th April, many families will now have received confirmation of their child’s school place. We recognise that this marks an important transition point for children and parents, and a valuable opportunity to ensure that transition arrangements are positive, inclusive, and well supported.

This page will offer a range of practical guidance resources that may be helpful in supporting children and families during transition into Reception. These materials are designed to support consistent, developmentally appropriate practice and positive transition experiences.
