There were some blank faces and expressions of utter shock as children were asked to take their bedcovers downstairs. There was confusion over the difference between a duvet and a duvet cover, and a pillow and a pillow case.We had suitcases that wouldn’t close, lost property and the usual comments of, “That’s not mine!” There were more sweets on the floor of the bedrooms than in a small independent sweet shop, random socks scattered around and wet soggy clothes that had not been put in the drying room. Nevertheless, the chaos came to an end and we were ready for this morning’s activity: a conservation task at the RSPB in Conwy. In the shadow of the 300 year old castle, we scoured the rocks and water for rubbish. Litter included: a flip flop, McDonalds wrappers, a bottle of cooking oil and a paint roller.
We are now having lunch in the sunshine before embarking on the long journey home.
We are all very proud of year six who have been amazing this week
