South Warwickshire Cross Country – Saturday 15 October
On Saturday 15th October, 4 children from Ettington Primary School, joined hundreds of other children to run a cross-country race at Charlecote Park. It was a bright, sunny day, and we were all excited to run our 1 mile race. The organisers shouted for all year 5 boys to line up, so myself and Jacob got ready to run. Jacob came 12th and I came 43rd. Then it was Year 6 girls with Leah and Georgia. And it was a triumph for Leah who came 1st out of many runners, and Georgia wasn’t far behind in 18th place.
Reported by Tom Whiteley, Year 5/6.
