We have created a series of key priorities for the school, which we are actively developing.

Overview of priorities for 2016/2017

AREAS FOR WHOLE SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT

PRIORITY 1: WHOLE SCHOOL

Writing – to ensure that a greater number of pupils are working at the Age Related Expectation and in Greater Depth in both writing and the spelling, punctuation and grammar (SPaG) element.

PRIORITY 2: WHOLE SCHOOL

Maths – To ensure that a greater number of pupils are working in ‘Greater Depth’ and that the more able learners are making at least expected progress.

 

PRIORITY 3: WHOLE SCHOOL

Science – To ensure that a greater number of pupils are working at Age Related Expectations.

PRIORITY 4: WHOLE SCHOOL

Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) – To update the curriculum and improve the quality of provision.

 

PRIORTY 5: WHOLE SCHOOL

Parental Engagement and Home School Communication – To provide more opportunities for parents to support their child’s learning, monitor their child’s progress and involve themselves in the educational process.

PRIORITY 6: LEADERSHIP

School Expansion – to consider increasing pupil numbers within each year group and provide a one form entry structure.
